FASTNET ROVERS picked up three points on the opening day with a 2-1 over St. Leonards. Seán Kehoe and Declan Colfer got the goals for Fastnet, with Barry Downes replying for Leonards.
John Doyle was the match-winner for Stoney Rovers, scoring both goals in his side's 2-0 win over Crossabeg, while Ajax beat Caim 2-1, Ferns overcame Shelburne 2-0 and Boolavogue beat Gorey Celtic 4-0.
Moyne and Park Hotspur drew 2-2, with John Peare and Alan Tobin scoring for Moyne and Mark Mann and Eoin Fortune replying for Hotspur.
