Paddy Owens tournament on Saturday

THE PADDY Owens Memorial tournament will be held on Saturday, August 28, in Enniscorthy. It'll be a team event using the aces scoring system, which is also used in the AllIreland and Leinster League competitions.
It will consist of two divisions, Division 1 and Division 2, with the winners of each meeting in the final. The Division 2 team will receive seven aces up in each of the games in the final.
The Wexford League was postponed last week due to bad weather. The final round will occur on Thursday next, August 26, weather permitting. A final table will be published next week.
