New role for Barron with Ferns
FERNS ST. Aidan's have shrugged off a disappointing season and are looking ahead to the 2012 campaign.
The club ratified John Barron as their new Senior hurling manager at its recent A.G.M.
The Glynn-barntown clubman, who acted as a Wexford Senior hurling selector during Colm Bonnar's term as manager, was the unanimous choice at the club's gathering, seeing off other prospective candidates for the position.
'We are clearly happy with John's appointment and what he offers to bring to the club,' a club spokesman said.
