Rathaspeck ladies golf society
Our new year started on September 6 in Rathaspeck. On September we had an away game in the Burrow while on October 4 we were away in Blackwater. Winners in Blackwater were 1st: Anna Kelly; 2nd: Margaret Furlong.
A well supporter trip to Waterford on October 18 and 19 was a great success. We played in Waterford Castle and Faithlegg. A great time was had by all and some serious golf was played.
After our trip to Waterford we played our Christmas shoot-out which was held over two weeks in Rathaspeck. On November 15 we played St Helens where a great day was had by all. Winners on the day were 1st: Betty Sinnott; 2nd: Ann Connolly; 3rd: Anna Kelly. November 22 we played in Rathaspeck and there was another good turnout. All outings were well supported by members and visitors.
Our Christmas party will take place in the Stanville Lodge Hotel where a presentation of prizes will be presented by our lady captain Alma Roche. We play every Tuesday, tee-off from 10am.
