Naomh Eanna keep the crown

Shamrocks of Enniscorthy u8 soccer team.
OVER 350 young footballers battled it out at Naomh Eanna GAA Club on Saturday, as they took part in the Jim Woods Memorial Tournament.
This is the fourth year of the event, and this year, sixteen U8 teams were lined up to play a series of matches in the competition. Clubs from across Wexford, Carlow, Dublin and Wicklow turned out on the day.
When all was said and done, Naomh Eanna held onto their crown, Kilmacud Crokes in the final of the Cup. The shield was shared by Bunclody and Kilanerin, after they drew in their final.
The club sent a special thank you to the referees who were members of Noamh Eanna. A particular well done was sent to Michael Dwyer who did a great job in the cup final and Gearoid Cullen for his sterling work in the shield final. The club also thanked Colm Morris who paid a special visit to the Naomh Eanna dressing room to deliver inspirational words to the young players.
Thanks went to all the club members who helped out with the organisation of the event; anyone who helped on the day, including the parents who provided the food. Special mention went to the Woods family for their generous support.
