Why have we started to charge?
Since we re-launched our website in 2008, it has gone from strength to strength, becoming the place to go for up-to-date information. We introduced changes from March 2010 so that wherever you are, you can be guaranteed to keep in touch with your local area by purchasing access to our premium content. The charge helps to offset the cost associated with delivering premium content online and allows us to continue to enhance our local websites.
Why should I subscribe to the website and what will I see?
By subscribing to the website you have access to all premium content published online. Premium content includes newspaper articles, access to archives, editorial comment, sports, entertainment and local notes. You can also continue to access a lot of local online content and services for free.

Much of the website content is free and easy to use: breaking national and world news, local cinema listings and movie reviews, searchable going out guides, and photo galleries.
You can access job listings via our jobs website www.loadzajobs.ie , property listings via our property website www.globrix.ie , car listings via our motors website www.loadzacars.ie and searchable business listings via our directory website www.yourlocal.ie .
Access to our archive search engine is free but you need to be a premium content subscriber to read the articles. This covers the newspaper content we published online back to 2002.

When is premium newspaper content published online?
Premium newspaper content will be published online after the print edition goes on sale in shops. Sometimes it can take up to a week for all premium newspaper content to be online. However, most newspaper content will be available before that.
Why is some newspaper content not available on the published date?
Content for our print edition takes priority over website updates at the moment. Therefore some newspaper content is not published on the website.

If you cannot find the article you are looking for try our search engine.
Sometimes, not all newspaper content is available online. Perhaps the article is too small or the editor decided not to publish it online.

We do not publish this newspaper content online.

I'm having problems registering/subscribing
Have you fully completed the registration and subscription process?
The steps are:
1: Register an account to become a member. You choose a username (your email
address) and password
2: Choose a subscription option
3: Make a payment using RealEx secure payment processing
4: Read premium content
When you click into any premium content article, you will see all payment options and can get access to the content you wish to view in just a few simple steps.
If you still have difficulties, please contact us using our customer service contact form.
If you have a valid subscription for premium content, log in using your email username and password to read the content.
If you log out, you will be presented with a login / password box when you attempt to read the next premium content article.
You can also use the login link at the top right of every article.
Use the forgotten password link that appears beside the login / password box. You will be sent an email with instructions necessary to reset your password.
I'm having problems logging in
Check that you are using a valid email username and password.
Read the on-screen messages when you attempt to login, as these will provide you with information.
Check that you have a valid premium content subscription. To view your subscription history, go to the Member Centre.
If you have forgotten your password, use the forgotten password link that appears beside the login / password box.
