Sarah feeling 'A1' after Leaving Cert excellence
Sarah O'Loughlin earned an outstanding 600 points in her Leaving Cert exams.
'IT WAS WORTH all the stress and hard work,' smiled Sarah O'Loughlin from Ardamine, as she surveyed the unbroken row of As on her results sheet last Wednesday morning. Sarah was modest in her success, and was busy congratulating all her friends on their results, but equally, her friends were delighted for her.
Many students had achieved far more points than they had ever imagined, and quite a few were close to 600 points, but only one student in the school, Sarah, had managed to hit the maximum points available.
Sarah, who is daughter of Tom and Yasmin O'Loughlin, was congratulated on her success by the principal Michael Finn, other staff members, and her fellow students.
