Ballycanew NS given planning

WEXFORD County Council has given the go-ahead for an extension and a reorganisation of the internal layout of Ballycanew National School.
The Board of Management had applied to the Council for an extension to the front of the school measuring approx 222 sq. m. It will include two additional classrooms and toilet facilities, new link corridors and a storage area, and a new entrance.
They also got permission to make internal alterations and to reorganise the existing school layout.
The also plan to erect an extension to the side of the school measuring approx 48 sq. m., comprising a library, staff room, boiler house and bin store. It is also planned to build a learning support room to the rear measuring approx. 15 sq. m.
