Another massive Singfest
OVER 150 young voices from Co Wexford are counting down to the performance of their life on Friday.
The seventh annual County Wexford Children's Choir Singfest takes place in Wexford Opera House this Friday, March 5, at 8 p.m., while there's also a special daytime schools' concert on Friday afternoon at 12.30 p.m.
Participating in this year's Singfest are young singers from Clongeen, Kilmore, Ballycanew and Glenbrien National Schools, under the direction of guest artistic director Mary Amond O'Brien and assistant director Éanna McKenna.
'Viva La Música!' will celebrate an exciting programme of music from all around the world, including African, Chinese, Irish, Spanish and lots, lots more.
The County Wexford Children's Choir Singfest is funded and supported by Wexford County Council, the Arts Council and participating schools in association with Wexford Opera House.
