WHAT a great week it has been at the NWSPCA. Dogs Jack, Lilly and Freya have gone to their new homes. We've reunited Coco the Chocolate Labrador with her owners, and Midnight, Mikey, Marmalade and Bradley, the cats have headed off to new families without looking back. Still waiting to find homes are: Tammy is a six year-old Jack Russell Terrier. Gentle, friendly and a good walker on the lead, Tammy would make an ideal companion for an older person who would like some company. She is spayed and vaccinated.
Blinky Blue, our dalmation Collie cross, is deaf and so in need of a special home where he can be one of the gang. At seven months, he is neutered and vaccinated. He loves other dogs and would be best placed where he would be a companion to someone, either working from home or in the garden.
Sissy, a four-month-old Glen of Imaal cross puppy. She is fully vaccinated, wormed and is as gentle as can be. Fostered with three other dogs in a family with three young children, she is very well socialised. Arrangements can be made to meet Sissy.
Rocky is a three month old Boxer cross. He is vaccinated and wormed and in need of a new family. In foster care with a family with young children, kittens and several dogs, he is in heaven and would love a similar situation.
Lucky is a hairy Terrier of three years and is a funny girl. She loves walks and cuddles and is a social lady. An ideal family pet, she loves children. Lucky is spayed and vaccinated.
Tom is a large male Labrador cross. He is very tall and a handsome devil to boot. He is vaccinated and will be neutered shortly. An unassuming dog, he is loved by all of the volunteers.
As we've had such a great week homing cats, and several of the felines with us are chosen and will be heading off soon, we only have two to mention. They are Coffee and Cream – two ginger and white kittens of four months. Both very shy, they will be ready to go to new homes shortly.
