A variety of drama in Carnew

Wednesday March 03 2010

THERE'S HIGH drama and variety on the cards at a special night of entertainment in St. Brigid's Hall in Carnew, tomorrow, Thursday, March 4, at 8 p.m.

Directed by Michael Byrne and performed by Transition Year students from Colaiste Bhride and elderly citizens from Home first, this year's production promises to entertain.

One of the plays, titled 'Ernie's Incredible Hallucinations', follows the comedic exploits of a boy named Ernie, played by John Lancaster, and his big imagination which always lands him in trouble.

Another play, titled 'Bar and Ger', is certainly a change in pace compared to 'Ernie'. It stars Adrian Shannon as Bar, a care-free youth who constantly argues with his wiser older sister, played by Patricia Kenny.

There is also a comical hospital sketch performed in collaboration between the TY students and the people from Home first.

Admission is ¤6 at the door.
