STELLA O'HALLORAN from Banogue, Gorey, was delighted to be joined by 38 family members and friends, as she celebrated her 80th birthday with a lunch in the Amber Springs Hotel, Gorey, last Sunday afternoon.
Among those attending were her daughters Bernie and Mary; her grandchildren Erin and Luke; her sister Maria; and brother James. Her other daughter Diane, who is a resident at St. Aidan's was unable to be there on the day, but sent her best wishes. Also unable to make it but sending good wishes was her other grandson Drew.
Stella was especially delighted to see family and friends who made the journey from the West of Ireland and the UK to be there on the day.
Her family surprised her with a large 'Deal or no Deal' box cake, which was duly shared around. Stella thanked everyone for a wonderful day, and for all the lovely presents. She also thanked the Amber Springs Hotel for being such great hosts.
