ST. PATRICK'S DAY

The organising committee of the Parade have fixed Sunday March 14 for their annual Parade in lieu of Wednesday March 17.
They are appealing for the same enthusiastic support which they have had for the last 2 years. A special feature of this years parade will be the attendance of the Bulgarian Ambassador to Ireland, Emil Yalnazov, accompanied by the Pipe Band Orphikus.
Also on Saturday night next March 13 the organising committee will hold a Paddy's Day Dance in the Coolgreany Inn with music by Jimmy Coyne and Manhattan, with the proceeds helping to defray some of the costs of the Parade prizes.
The organising Committee would invite all businesses and clubs in the area and outside, to support the parade, and musical groups both young and old would be very welcome also.
