SHED FEST: All roads lead to the Wexford Summer Shed Fest, which will be held in the Community Arena in Buffers Alley on Saturday August 21. Donna Marie Sludds of "You're a Star" fame, with her band will be the headline act in this music festival supported by a host of local artists.
The "Pig Roast" and barbeque will satisfy any appetite and there will be a late bar on the night. This will be the first event held in the new arena and it will give everyone a chance to marvel at the vast structure which promises to be such a fantastic resource for the local community groups. VILLAGE MAKE-OVER
At present our village is undergoing a face life with flower pots, walls etc. This is part of plants being hatched by our village development group.
This group came together originally as a Taisce Clean up group but now has decided to enhance the attractiveness of our village. Some more features are to be added very soon and some fund raising may be necessary.
The features to be added soon will be in the centre of the village and everyone's help is greatly appreciated in making our village a beautiful place. SYMPATHY
Sincere sympathy is extended to the wife & family of the late Stanley Hollinghead of Anagh Lane who passed away during the week. His funeral took place after 2pm mass in Monamolin. May he rest in peace.
