MARY SOMERS from Croneyhorn, Carnew, was delighted to see so many family members and friends at her 50th birthday celebrations in the Parkview, Shillelagh, recently. Mary has lived in the UK for the past 22 years, and she flew home for the bash. Among those enjoying the fun were her mother Aggie, her sisters Susanne and Una, and her brother John, as well as other relatives and friends.
Also in attendance were several old school friends, and many of her former workmates from S. Corrells where she worked for many years before going to the UK.
By all reports, a great night was had by one and all, and top music by Images, and the delicious hot food went down a treat.
Mary thanked everyone for a wonderful evening and for all their kind wishes.
