CREATIVE ART: The following Classes will take place in Ballindaggin Community Hall, from 28th September 2010. Classes are opened to male and females of all ages and levels of experience: Creative Crafting; Starts Tuesday 28th September.
Card Making and Scrap Booking, starts on Wednesday 29th Sept from 7pm to 9pm. Oil Painting for Beginners, starts Thursday 30th Sept. Portfolio Courses for Students Wishing to Gain Entry to Third Level Art College, starts on Saturday 2nd Oct 2010 from 10am to 1pm. Children's Art Club, starts on Saturday 2nd Oct from 10am to 1pm.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the brothers, nephews, nieces, relations and friends of the late Fr. Patrick Doyle who passed away at Knockeen Nursing Home, Barntown last week. Fr. Doyle had been ill for some time.
Fr. Patrick Doyle was born and reared in Ballybreen and received his early education at Ballindaggin National School. He has many relations and friends in the Parish where he was very popular. He was ordained in St. Colman's Church, Ballindaggin after which he spent most of his life ministering in England.
His remains were removed to Ballindaggin Church on Thursday evening last week, the remains were received by Bishop Denis Brennan D.D. Fr.John Sinnott P.P. and many other clergy. Interment took place in adjoining Cemetery on Friday following Con-Celebrated Requiem Mass in St. Colman's Church. Rest in peace. NIGHT OF STORIES

The Armstrong family of four brothers and two sisters have come together to publish a book in memory of their father the late James Armstrong of Curraduff, Kiltealy.
A man of many talents he had an undoubted ability to write poems and songs. His work will be seen by the public for the first time when the book "Songs and Poems" by James Armstrong will be launched in Kiltealy Community Centre on Saturday 18th September at 8 pm.
All proceeds from the book sales will go to Hospice Home Care. All are welcome to attend. Your support would be much appreciated. SET DANCING
