The date for this year's annual pioneer pilgrimage to Our Ladys Island is Sunday 5th September. Ceremonies to commence at 3pm. The national church gate collection gn aid of the Pakistan fund which has been organised by the bishops under the auspices of Trocaire was held on Saturday and Sunday 21st & 22nd August.

The Community Arena Fundraising Committee would like to thank all the people from the locality who put in such Trojan work over the last few weeks to get the Arena ready for The Shed Fest.

Considering that there was no roof three weeks ago it is incredible the effort that went in to having the Arena prepared.
