Fine weather
THE FINE weekend weather saw crowds flock to Courtown last Sunday. Day trippers came to the seaside village in their droves, with many locals saying it was like a good summer's day. Business was reported to be good on the day, and parking on the north pier and in the village was at a premium.
Fine sunshine and a clear blue sky meant people were only too eager to get out in the fresh Spring air, following a long cold winter.
Locals hope it was the first sign of a good year, and with good weather predicted for this weekend, it's hoped the village will be busy yet again, in advance of St. Patrick's Day.
