Courtnacuddy National School are in the process of collecting old mobile phones, a project which will result in them being issued with a Defibrillator. All phones can be handed into the school.
HOLY HOUR
A Holy Hour with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in Courtnacuddy Church on the second Sunday of each month from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the success of the Eucharistic Congress to be held in Dublin in June 2012. Everyone is most welcome and next Holy Hour is on Sunday 11th December. There will be a Holy Hour of Adoration every Sunday after mass in Davidstown Church. All are very welcome.

Davidstown National School will hold a cake sale after masses on 3rd/4th December in Davidstown church and all proceeds will go to the school for the new infant play area. Your support is greatly appreciated.

ROSARY
The Rosary is prayed every Monday at 7.30 p.m. in Courtnacuddy Church. Everyone is invited to come and join in praying the Rosary especially during the month of Our Lady. The Fatima Rosary takes place in Davidstown Church on the 13th of each month at 3pm. Next date is Thursday 13th December at 3 p.m.
Every first Saturday morning there is a rosary hour in Courtnacuddy church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. In Davidstown the rosary will be said before all masses. All are welcome to come along and take part.

ADORATION

Courtnacuddy Comhaltas are having a Ceili on Sunday 4th December from 3 - 6 p.m. in the community centre. Music will be provided by Waterford Comhaltas and admission is €10. Tea and refreshments will be provided.

The Comhaltas Branch is having the Annual Christmas Draw on 17th December. Lines can be purchased in Kelly's shop. generously donated every year. RETIREMENT PARTY
Michael (Mick) O'leary was guest of honour at a presentation night in Kiltealy Community Centre on Saturday 19th Nov. to mark his recent retirement after 22 years as postman on the Kiltealy/rathnure route.
Kiltealy Post mistress Mary Long made a presentation to Mick on behalf of the community and Bridie O'leary presented his wife Kitty with a bouquet of flowers. Commenting on his retirement Mick says he retires with many very happy memories of the friends he made during all the years doing his weekly rounds and is looking forward to spending time with his family and some extra holidays. The large attendance all joined in wishing him many happy years of retirement.
SYMPATHY
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family, relations and friends of the late Tommy Atkinson, Barkers Road, Bunclody who passed away on 19th Nov. Tommy was formerly a native of Booladurragh and has many family members and friends in the Kiltealy/ballindaggin area.
Interment took place in Calvary Cemetery, Bunclody following Requiem Mass in Church of the Most Holy Trinity.

Best wishes to John Murphy, Ballyminane Mills, Ballindaggin in his new venture with Uncle Aidan's Authentic Stone Ground Flour. John was a guest on "I Remember" Saturday morning show on South East Radio recently. The Mill was established at Ballyminane in 1832, it is an traditional authentic water powered mill. The wheat used is sourced from James Leech, Ballyhamilton Farms. The 2 kg bags of flour are now available in major local supermarkets and we wish John every success in his new business.
