BROADBAND:As part of the National Broadband Scheme, 3 Broadband is now available in Inch. To find out more call 1800 949 541. GYMKHANA The AGM of the Gymkhana Committee will take place in the Woodenbridge Hotel on tomorrow night Thursday 26th August at 9pm.

As this will be the last meeting of the year the Committee will present the last returns from the Gymkhana on last Sunday week, where full details of the year will be reviewed, this is an open meeting and everyone is invited to attend

At the conclusion of a very successful day, the Chairman Ian Bracken thanked everyone for their generous support again this, he especially thanked all the Sponsors of the various Cups and Prizes, and all the people who donated prizes and gave so freely to the stalls etc.

He also offered a sincere thanks to Lindy Vaughan who judged the Dog Show and presented the Vaughan Perpetual Cup in memory of the late Johnny Vaughan who was a life long supporter of the Gymkhana, Ian said that the day would not have been the success it was without the large number of volunteers who gave so much time, to the preparation of the field and worked so well on the day, this he said was the true spirit of a community working together for the betterment of the Church and Parish he concluded. YOUTH CLUB

The AGM of Coolgreany Youth Club will take place in the May Byrne House on next Friday night 27th August at 7 pm. The Club will review another very successful when over 60 members met regularly on each Wednesday evening during the school term, they organised several outings and also put an entry in the St Patrick's Day Parade.

Their success was brought about by a strong team of trained leaders. The Club are seeking the help of more parents at committee level for the coming to help keep all the activities going. Please make a big effort to attend the AGM on this Friday night. HANDBALL

Congratulations to Martina Walsh on her success at achieving All-Ireland glory in the Junior Handball Championships, when Martina beat hot favourite Rebecca Mullholand Kilkenny in the Leinster Final.

There appeared to be no other player in Ireland who could compete with her and Martina became Champion, without having to play any more games and she now becomes the first of the Handball season All-Ireland 60 x30 Champion in Wexford. Well Done Martina. COMMUNITY ALERT

A number of Household break ins took place in the area north of Castletown in the recent past, and householders are reminded to be aware of strangers or suspicious looking vehicles roaming around your area at irregular times. If you notice anything suspicious, report it to the Garda at Gorey Station on 053-9430690, and in particular be on the lookout for householders living alone please. COFFEE MORNING

A Coffee morning in aid of Chernobyl Aid Ireland, will take place in the May Byrne House, on Monday 30th August, between 9.30am and 12.30 pm, the organisers would like to acknowledge the support the received last year, and are hoping for the same support on the 30th August. TEA DANCE

The Arklow Belarus Group are organising a Tea Dance in the Arklow Rock Club House on Sunday 29th August at 3 pm. Adm. is only €5, and Tickets are available from Mary Doyle at 086-3856448, and Music will be supplied by the "Wicklow Man".
