RATHNURE NS
The parents and teachers of Rathnure N.S. would like to thank everyone who helped with the school fundraising this year. Due to your generosity we were able to provide the children with buses to different venues such as W.I.T., the Dáil, R.D.S., St. John's Hospital and swimming lessons. We decided due to the financial situation we are finding ourselves in at the moment we will not hold our Christmas raffle.
We will be holding other fundraising events next year and once again would be delighted with your support. We would also like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a peaceful 2012, The Parents Association.
Rathnure N.S. Green Committee: We had a visit from Gerry Foran who showed us how to use recyclables to make 3-D art. We are collecting stamps, batteries, phones and computer games (less than three years old, in their own cases). We need fifty-five more phones to get a set of jerseys. Old newspapers can be put in the bins at the hall. Energy saving tip - Switch off: Do not leave electrical items plugged in or on stand-by. Remember - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
The annual Templeudigan Christmas Party has been set for Sunday 4th December at 1pm.
