'AN JIG GIG' FINAL
Well done to Celtic Roots Dancers who performed so well to reach the TG4 Finals of 'An Jig Gig' on Sunday night last with a repeat showing tonight Tuesday at 11pm.
The group danced their 'Bugsy Malone' and a OEThriller' routine, which impressed the adjudicators very much but not well enough to crown them the best dancers in Ireland for 2009.
The 'Celtic Roots' dancers were delighted to reach the final and were not disappointed, as the winners of the title were three professional dancers with 'Riverdance'.
The Celtic Roots choreographers were Kay McKelvie, Sinead Fortune and Catriona Leacy and the dancers for the show were Bernadette Carton, Emma Murphy, Ciara Breen, Niamh Darcy, Teresita Cash, Annie Parle, Marie Doyle, Aine Doyle, Sinead Doyle, Clare Fortune, James Jordan and Stephen Donohoe. Well done to all involved.
