CONGRATULATIONS from Gorey Active Retirement Association to the computer group on gaining their certificates recently.
The Association announced the latest news on trips and holidays at the AGM on January 24 last, and as usual, we had a great response.
We will visit Lock's Museum in Kilbeggan, Westmeath, on February 29, leaving the Ashdown Park Hotel at 10.30 a.m. The price is €23. Call into Loch Garman Arms to book your place.
The Spring Break will take place in Tralee, Co. Kerry this year, staying at the Manor West Hotel with leisure facilities and also shopping nearby. The dates are May 21 to 25, and the price is €300 per person sharing or €360 p.p. for a single room. The price includes pick-up at the Ashdown Park Hotel, lunch on the way, bed and breakfast, and an evening meal, and music every night, trips out, and lunch on the way back. Call in to book your place, and see Kay or Anne. The 'On Track' course will start next Thursday, February 2, at 1.30 p.m. at the VEC building on the Avenue.
